Welcome!

The Association of Law Enforcement Chaplains (ALEC) was formed to provide solid, dedicated training to law enforcement chaplains nation-wide. In doing so ALEC has worked hard to mitigate the financial burden of travel, time away from paid employments or family.

ALEC uses one day, yearly, classroom training or two day regional training to deliver professional, and current training topics. We are also working toward using today’s technology to bring training you online. Our goal is to help best equip you to minister to law enforcement officers in your community.

In class training is held once a year for a single day, Regional training is held across two days. During the in classroom training many enjoy networking and the experiencing the personal, physical experience of training.

Lastly we also recognize that there are other training entities that may offer similar courses or training. In considering your involvement with ALEC we understand you may have taken other trainings prior to your involvement with ALEC so we decided to take things one step further in order to further mitigate burdens of training. ALEC will consider recognizing other completed training and allow for transfer of CEUs for certification up to three years prior to your involvement with ALEC.

“Excellent speakers. Good to be given specifics on what to do when called out. This training is a highlight of our year. Loved the facility & great lunch.”
